Qualifications

• Pediatric respiratory care experience is required.
• Minimum of one year as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Completion of a two-year CoARC-approved respiratory care program (associate degree or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to pediatric patients.
• Support night-shift staffing needs and collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams.
• Administer oxygen, medications, airway clearance and ventilation support as ordered.
• Document care and communicate clinical information during handoffs and night shifts.
• Educate patients and families, and follow infection-prevention and safety standards.
• Ensure equipment is set up and ready for use and participate in quality-improvement efforts.
