Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsfield, MA, with a night shift (4x10) schedule. The role offers a weekly pay of $2,000 to $2,200 and requires active national certification and Meditech Expanse experience.

Responsibilities include routine and specialized testing, result interpretation, instrument maintenance, QA/QC, and timely reporting. Travel with own vehicle and weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• MLS/MT certification active and national, required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or approved provider.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle for travel, within radius constraints.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing per protocols.
• Analyze, interpret, and validate results for reporting.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot instruments.
• Follow QC/QA and safety procedures.
• Document records using Meditech Expanse.
• Report abnormalities and instrument issues to staff.
• Ensure regulatory and facility policy compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis.
• Provide weekend/holiday coverage as required.
