Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Tele night shift in Middletown, CT. The unit is 26 beds with patient ratios of 1:3–4 days and 1:7–8 nights, using EPIC EMR. The assignment starts ASAP and runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week.

Active RN license (CT or Compact) and travel nursing experience are required, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Nights, 3x12s, with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care on a 26-bed unit.
• Manage night-shift patient care on 3x12hr schedule (7p–7:30a).
• Maintain patient ratios 1:3–4 day, 1:7–8 nights.
• Ensure readiness for 13-week assignment with 36 hrs/wk.
