Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Middletown, CT. The position runs 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift with travel employment.

The Telemetry RN will monitor patients with heart-rate and rhythm equipment, perform bedside care, and respond to telemetry alerts. Candidates need 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

• 13-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor telemetry readings.
• Interpret and document telemetry data and respond to abnormal findings.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
