Job summary

The Registered Nurse (Internal Traveler) at Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. provides care to adult Med/Surg patients on the 5 Tower, primarily during night shifts.

This role requires floating as needed and a signed 13-week agreement, with at least two 12-hour shifts weekly and weekend/holiday availability. As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per hospital standards and unit policies, using the nursing process to monitor patient functional status.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS/ACLS preferred.
• 1 year related experience in the specialty.
• Knowledge of nursing process and patient care planning.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients.
• Completes assessment and individualizes plan of care per unit guidelines.
• Performs nursing skills appropriate for adult Med/Surg patients.
• Documents steps of nursing process and communicates effectively.
