Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment in Tennessee. A TN or compact RN license is required, with at least 1 year of ED experience and BLS certification prior to start.

ACLS/PALS/NIHSS/CPI/NRP must be completed within 90 days of start. The role features a 13-week assignment, a 4:1 patient ratio, no on-call or floating, and Cerner EMR usage.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• BLS required before start
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP required within 90 days of start
• 1+ year of recent Emergency Dept experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting providing total patient care
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be discussed at interview and should be less than 1 week
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Previous CHS permanent staff are not eligible if employed within the last 2 years
