Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Inspector to perform incoming inspections of transformers, teardown and inspection of core and coil assemblies, and loading coils. You will repair, stack, and re-insulate cores as needed while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in manufacturing, with the ability to pass a drug screen and a nationwide background check. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of Transformer.
• Perform teardown and inspection of core and coil assembly.
• Load coils onto core and yoke form or stack shell form.
• Repair, stack, and re-insulate cores as required.
• Perform jacking of core blocking and insulation.
