Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring a Traffic Clerk in Pennsylvania. You will plan, assign, and direct a Traffic Clerk team, ensuring timely follow-up on all issues and accurate shipping/receiving documents.

You will liaise with operations and transportation to prepare reports and improve daily workflows. The role requires strong communication, basic math, and proficiency with Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE and freezer gear.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of a Traffic Clerk team
• Ensure the team is providing timely follow-up on all issues or concerns
• Act as liaison between operations and transportation to verify shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
• Partner with operations and transportation to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (if applicable)
• Communicate concerns and route reports to appropriate team members
• Provide ongoing training to team members as needed
