Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Third Shift Thermal Plant Operator to run the thermal soil remediation process, monitor performance, and ensure safety and permit compliance. The role requires detail-oriented work with occasional overtime and weekend hours as needed.

The position entails preparing pre-shift inspections, recording operating conditions, and coordinating with maintenance for repairs while adhering to Cardinal Rules and JSAs. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
• Trade school graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermal plant controls and equipment in a safe and efficient manner compliant to all local, state, and federal permits requirements.
• Continuously monitor facility operations and make adjustments as required to achieve optimal performance specifications.
• Perform and document daily operations, safety, and equipment condition checks; communicate repairs to maintenance staff.
