Job summary

Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health is seeking reliable Overnight Residential Counselors for its 6-bed teen residential centers in the San Fernando Valley. Positions are available full-time and part-time at Tarzana, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, and Woodland Hills, with 12-17 year olds in care and 45-60 day stays.

Responsibilities include overnight supervision (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), safety checks every 15 minutes, light housekeeping, documentation, and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stay awake all night; previous overnight shift experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have 6-9 months of experience working with teens with mental health or substance abuse
• 6-9 months of experience in an adolescent group home or similar setting
• All schedules require at least 1 weekend shift
• Pass LiveScan background checks and clear federal/state criminal background checks and child abuse indexes
• Possess a valid California driver’s license
• Following PPE guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Remain awake, alert, and engaged throughout the full overnight shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Ensure clients remain in their rooms overnight
• Conduct wellness checks on clients every 15 minutes
• Complete regular walkthroughs of the facility, including safety and maintenance checks
• Assist with inventory checks and administrative tasks
• Accurately document all shift activity in electronic medical records
• Support overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility during the overnight shift
