Job summary

Evolve Treatment Centers in California is seeking an Overnight Residential Counselor to oversee the safety and supervision of teens at a 6-bed residential center. You will stay awake overnight, manage light duties to keep the center clean, and perform inventory checks.

The role offers training, competitive pay, and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and able to work with teens facing mental health and substance use challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Able to stay awake all night; prior overnight shift experience encouraged.
• At least 21 years old.
• 6–9 months experience with teens with mental health or substance abuse; group home experience preferred.
• Weekend shifts required; LiveScan background checks and CA driver’s license.
• Must be willing to interact with COVID-positive clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stay awake and alert for the full 10pm–6am shift.
• Maintain line of sight to all clients overnight.
• Check on clients every 15 minutes.
• Perform facility maintenance checks.
• Assist with inventory and notify facility manager of needs.
• Document shift activity in KIPU.
• Attend monthly Treatment Team Meetings.
