Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is hiring Team Members for evening and night shifts after 4pm in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will engage customers, prepare quality sandwiches, and help maintain a clean, inviting shop.

We offer competitive pay between 13.75 and 14.25 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and flexible schedules. Applicants must be 16+.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment.
• Able to stand for 3 hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front).
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Restock food line, chips, and cooler.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream efficiently.
• Handle cash registers and balance cash handling procedures.
• Address customer complaints and assist with catering/pickups.
