Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking Team Members for the 12-Hour Pitman Nights shift in Illinois. The role focuses on high-quality production, safety, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced area team. You will operate machinery, assist with maintenance, and uphold rigorous quality standards.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay range, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for training at Mars University. Weekend and mandatory overtime may be required during peak season.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Must stand on concrete floor and wear PPE.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending and other movements.
• Forklift certification required for some assignments (OSHA).
• 2–3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within a line or area.
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Takes corrective actions to address root causes of problems.
• Assists with equipment preventative maintenance with Maintenance.
• Maintains accurate records of quality checks and production data.
• Keeps shift log books and quality-related documentation.
