Job summary

Mars Wrigley – TNN Site in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Machine Operator for the 12 Hour Night Shift (2-2-3 rotation). You will operate and change over equipment in the assigned area, work with the area team, and uphold safety, quality and efficiency standards.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of manufacturing/machine operation experience, basic math and PC skills, and basic English communication. Preferred: 2+ years and lean manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of manufacturing/machine operation experience.
• Basic math and PC skills.
• Basic digital technology skills (tablet, HMI).
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and communicate in basic work-related English.
• Basic literacy for production/QA documentation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the highest level of Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout assigned department.
• Identify, escalation and address any deviation from standard or plan.
• Be responsible for the achievement of all Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
• Ensure cleaning standards are upheld and fulfilled.
