Wilsonart is seeking a Team Leader II for night shift to supervise production crews and ensure on-time delivery of customer commitments. You will translate goals, manage staffing, and collaborate with management to optimize flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You’ll mentor staff, monitor training, and participate in performance reviews, with a focus on leadership by example and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Temple, TX.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the department and work rules.
• Proficient with computers to update documents and Oracle WIP transactions.
• Understanding of product types and the manufacturing process.
• Knowledge of quality standards.
• Ability to support leadership with decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; tact and diplomacy.
• Maintain confidentiality; organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate machinery safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Work well independently and in a team; follow company policies.

Responsabilités

• Translates and/or determines goals & priorities for shift/crew.
• Resolves problems and advises management on complex issues.
• Assists supervisor with production flow and staffing schedules.
• Monitors training quality and ensures back-ups for critical roles.
• Leads by example in safety, attendance and company values.
• Participates in safety efforts to achieve SRP audit scores.
• Communicates clearly and timely with team and management.
• Facilitates shift team meetings on safety and lean topics.
• Works to reduce process problems and improve efficiencies.
• Maintains quality control and coordinates with material departments.
