Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking a Team Leader II to lead a night-shift manufacturing team and ensure production schedules and customer commitments are met. You will be a hands-on leader, interfacing with internal and external customers as needed and acting as a mentor to crew members.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, with strong communication and a focus on safety. This role requires working night shift and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of prior leadership experience in manufacturing or top position within the group for 12 months.
• Ability to train crews, manage shift goals and maintain safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Translates and determines shift goals and priorities for the crew.
• Monitors production flow and staffing; resolves problems with management guidance.
• Ensures crews are properly trained and back-ups are available.
• Maintains quality control and drives continuous improvement.
