Job summary

Wilsonart, located in Texas, seeks a Team Leader II to provide night‑shift leadership to ensure production schedules and customer commitments are met. This grade 5 role serves as the liaison between crew and management and requires hands‑on leadership on the N2 shift.

You will train and develop staff, manage shift priorities, maintain quality and safety, and drive lean improvements across departments while working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience or 12 months leading a manufacturing group.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety awareness.
• Ability to train and develop staff and manage shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Translates and/or determines goals & priorities for shift/crew.
• Assists supervisor with production flow and staffing schedules.
• Ensure crews are trained and back-ups available.
• Maintain quality control and safety.
• Lead shift team meetings (safety, lean, etc.).
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce problems and improve efficiency.
