Siemens is seeking a Team Lead for the GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Production Team at the Wendell, NC plant. The role will lead manufacturing activities on the 3rd shift, with initial training on the 1st shift as directed by the manager.

You will oversee shift staffing, coordinate cross-training, ensure tool readiness and SAP process compliance, and drive continuous improvement using Lean 5S/6S and related methodologies while upholding safety and quality standards.

Formación

• 5+ years’ work experience in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge on all operations in the area, material flow and SAP transactions.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience in training programs
• Must be able to use Microsoft office

Responsabilidades

• Lead the manufacturing activities as assigned at the Siemens plant in Wendell, NC.
• Empower the team, coordinate employees to fulfill work schedules, and serve as backup for the Production Manager.
• Oversee cross-training per Production Manager’s direction, maintain the training matrix, and ensure tool calibration is completed and current.
• Demonstrate time management, prioritize tasks, and ensure adherence to health & safety policies.
• Conduct SAP transactions throughout production, update reports and metrics, access production-related documentation.
• Identify and report production issues, collaborate with other departments to resolve them, and support continuous improvement.
