Job summary

Carolina Sweepers is seeking a Sweeper Truck Operator for the third shift to clean shopping centers and other commercial properties across the region. You will drive a sweeper truck, operate light equipment, and complete site paperwork on a full-time schedule.

The role starts at 9:00pm with routes that may extend into the early morning. We provide training, PPE, and opportunities for advancement; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, and no other job can be held

Qualifications

• Active driver license and clean driving record.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Night shift hours 9:00pm–when route finishes (early morning).
• Willingness to work outside in all weather and handle trash.
• Landscaping, sanitation, and janitorial experience is a plus.
• Cannot work another job alongside this one.

Responsibilities

• Drive a sweeper truck to clean commercial parking lots.
• Operate a backpack blower and other light tools.
• Empty and replace trash can liners.
• Hand-pick litter and debris to ensure a clean environment.
• Complete paperwork and use a mobile app to check in/out of job sites.
• Drive to various client sites - including longer routes throughout the region.
• Keep your company vehicle clean and in good condition.
