Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Labor and Delivery team. The role supports delivery and C-section procedures within a family-centered care environment and offers opportunities to grow within a renowned health system.

The position requires a surgical technology program graduate or military training, CST/TS-C certification, and BLS. Night shifts with a demanding, fast-paced OR schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited through the CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Military surgical technology program acceptable.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist (TS-C or CST) required or acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, individualized patient care in perioperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Maintain the sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Assist with draping, instrument handling, and counts per procedure.
• Collaborate with RN Circulator and surgeons; communicate status and preferences.

Surgical Technology program accredited (CAAHEP or ABHES)
