Job summary

Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego is seeking a Night Surgical Technologist for a full-time 12-hour shift. This role supports sterile processing, intraoperative care, and teamwork in a fast-paced OR environment at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, Hillcrest location.

Qualified candidates will have 1 year of surgical tech experience or formal training, and current BLS certification; CST certification preferred. Retention incentives and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR rooms for surgery with sterile supplies and equipment.
• Monitor sterile field throughout procedures.
• Scrub for cases and anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team.
• Position and transport patients.
• Assist with room turnover and equipment decontamination.
