Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center in Maryland is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the 5 West Surgical Unit. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) focuses on a variety of surgical specialty patients, with private rooms and a collaborative multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, and coordinating interventions with PACU, physicians, and rehab services while supporting MedStar Spirit

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• One year of RN experience.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA/Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs and collaborate with the nursing team.
