Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's surgical team seeks an independently licensed PA to partner with specialist physicians and deliver safe, high-quality inpatient surgical care in a supportive environment. Nighttime schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week; EPIC preferred.

You will provide post-op care on the floor and ICU, admit ED patients, assist in the OR including robotic surgery, and perform bedside procedures when needed.

Qualifications

• MS in Physician Assistant Studies or active MA Nurse Practitioner license.
• State and Federal DEA licensure, BLS, ACLS.
• Clinical experience in Surgical Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care on the floor and ICU
• Evaluate and admit patients from the ED
• Evaluate surgical consult patients
• Perform bedside procedures
• First assist in the OR (including robotic surgery) as needed
