Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Barnabas Health Medical Group at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This salaried position supports the Surgical APPs - CMMC team with perioperative care, ER/inpatient consultations, and post-operative management.

Requirements include NCCPA Certification, NJ PA License, CDS, DEA, and current BLS/ACLS. 3x12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• New grads welcome to apply.
• Current NCCPA Certification and NJ PA License required.
• CDS, DEA, and BLS/ACLS active at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Perform initial surgical consultations in the ER and inpatient settings.
• Conduct pre-operative management and post-operative rounds; wound management.
• Occasionally assist in surgery as permitted by licensure, with supervised autonomy.
