Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for salaried night-shift coverage in the Surgical APPs - CMMC department. The APP provides high-quality pre- and post-operative care and works as an active member of the surgical team, with autonomy within licensure.

The role requires APN or PA credentials, BLS/ACLS, and NJ licensure (PA license or RN). New grads welcome for APN/PA tracks; 3x12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current APN Certification required.
• NJ RN state license required.
• CDS and DEA required.
• Current BLS/ACLS required.
• RNFA Certification preferred.
• Surgical NP certification with surgical assist built into program is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Initial surgical consultations in the ER and inpatient.
• Pre-operative management.
• Post-operative rounding and wound management.
• Occasional surgical first assisting.
• Functioning as an active member of the surgical team with autonomy within licensure.
