Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in an inpatient critical care setting near Hartford, CT. The role operates on a full-time night shift with EPIC EMR support and a dedicated Office of Advanced Practice for mentorship and orientation.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year of critical care experience, hold or are eligible for CT licensure as an APNP or PA, and will collaborate with a team of Critical Care

Qualifications

• 1+ year of critical care experience as an advanced practice provider.
• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner credentialed to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in an inpatient critical care setting.
• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary care teams.
