Job summary

OU Medicine is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I for the night shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am) in the Supply Chain department. You will handle put-away, requisitions, picking, distribution, and delivery of general, medical, and surgical supplies across healthcare settings.

Responsibilities include scanning inventory, restocking carts, checking expirations, and using MMIS and handheld devices. Strong typing, communication, and ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

Typing and computer use required for daily tasks.
Proficient with MMIS for requisitions and cost allocation.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and lift 40–50 lbs.
Effective communication with coworkers and clinical partners.

Responsibilities

Put away supplies in Med-Surge areas (excluding OR/procedural).
Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders.
Pick supplies for distribution and restock carts and trays.
Check locations for expirations and remove per policy.
Deliver supplies to nursing units, clinics, and other locations using signature techs.
Answer calls and emails, respond to customer service requests.
Process issues and credits in MMIS to ensure item costs are allocated.
