Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Materials Management–Distribution & Central Supply specialist to manage inventory across clinical and non-clinical areas. You will receive, order, stock, and distribute supplies to meet urgent needs while maintaining accurate records and efficient operations.

This full-time role requires attention to accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 5 years in Inventory, Materials Management, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 1 year in customer service; 1 year in supply chain inventory or distribution.
• Strong verbal and written communication; knowledge of healthcare supply chain management; valid AZ driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Place routine and ad hoc supply orders and stock supplies per clinical priorities.
• Coordinate deliveries to off-site clinics; monitor expiration dates and kanban levels.
• Receive shipments into ERP; resolve issues with damages, back orders, misdirected orders.
• Maintain inventory records using Supply Chain systems and perform cycle counts.
• Identify efficiency improvements and adjust par levels with stakeholders.
