Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, inventory control, and team performance.
• Ensure inbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently per procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and corrective actions.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety metrics while meeting operational goals.
• Coach and develop team members and manage attendance and performance.
• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, QA, and operations teams for smooth workflow.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports using advanced Excel.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and service levels.
• Maintain compliance with GMPs, OSHA regulations, and handling requirements.

Night Shift Inbound Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Brownsburg, IN

Schedule: Friday - Sunday 12am - 12pm

Salary: $72,000–$74,000 annually

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced 2nd Shift Inbound Warehouse Supervisors to lead inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a strong background in the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry, where compliance, safety, and inventory integrity are critical.

This role requires exceptional analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience using Blue Yonder and SWIFT systems to drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, inventory control, and team performance.
• Ensure all inbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety metrics while meeting operational goals.
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance and attendance.
• Coordinate with transportation, customer service, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports using advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve service levels.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food/pharmaceutical/chemical handling requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry.
• Experience managing inbound warehouse operations in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including:
• Data analysis and reporting
• Basic formulas and data manipulation
• Applicants will be required to pass an Excel skills assessment as part of the interview process.
• Experience using Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience with SWIFT inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures as required.

This is a food‑grade/compliance‑driven facility with strict hygiene and safety standards.

• Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the facility.
• Eating is not permitted inside the warehouse or operational areas.
• Employees must follow all company safety, sanitation, and GMP policies at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
• Experience leading teams in a high‑volume distribution center.
