Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a Nursing Assistant (PRN) for the Night shift. You will assist in delivering patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, document procedures, and follow safety policies and PPE guidelines in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to work across care areas. High school diploma and enrollment in a nursing program are required; BLS certification is preferred as noted in the job

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed first semester OR has completed an accredited nursing program within one year and not licensed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures accurately according to department policy.
• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Participates in practice changes from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
