Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Night Shift Structural Welder in Tulsa, OK. You will perform MIG and flux core welding on carbon steel, reading blueprints and setting amperage and voltage on welding machines. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.

to 4:00 a.m., with a shift differential and a steady production workload. Responsibilities include welding in 3G, horizontal, and overhead positions, measuring parts with calipers and tape measures, inspecting welds, and maintaining equipment in a safe shop

Qualifications

• 8+ months of welding experience in a structural shop.
• Proficient MIG and flux core welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpretations of structural drawings.
• Able to set amperage and voltage on welding machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and flux core welding on carbon steel in 3G, horizontal and overhead positions.
• Read blueprints and plan layouts and welding procedures.
• Measure parts with tape measures, calipers, and rulers for precise fit-up.
• Set up components and adjust welding equipment per job requirements.
• Weld, inspect, and ensure quality welds; maintain equipment safety.
• Work with team in a production shop on a multi-building campus.
