Job summary

HireCall is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to fabricate and weld structural steel components used in meter houses for oil and gas projects in Tulsa, OK. The role requires MIG and Flux Core welding expertise and blueprints reading accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of welding experience, can fit and assemble structural skids, and will pass a 3G MIG/Flux Core plate weld test on 3/4-inch plate. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of structural welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding required.
• Must be able to read blueprints independently and lay out materials to specifications.
• Strong measuring, cutting, fitting and fabrication skills.
• Experience fitting structural skids and building meter houses preferred.
• Ability to work independently and adjust to changing production needs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately lay out structural components.
• Measure, cut, prepare, fit, and weld materials according to project requirements.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel.
• Fabricate and fit structural skids and other steel assemblies.
• Work with steel siding and R-panel materials.
• Identify and resolve fabrication or fitting issues.
• Adapt to design changes and production requirements.
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the fabrication process.
