Job summary

Chart Industries in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a second-shift welder to join our manufacturing team. You will operate cranes, use hand tools, and weld structural material per approved processes, with emphasis on quality and safety.

The role involves reading blueprints, mastering welding symbols, passing multiple weld tests (2G/3G/6G), and supporting fellow welders. Expect up to 12-hour days, six days a week, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must pass 3G structural welding test.
• Able to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Willing to pass weld tests (2G/3G/6G) upon hire.
• Potential to work up to 6 days a week, 12-hour shifts.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, hand tools and forklifts.
• Welding of structural material through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and supervision.
• Maintain required records and keep work area clean.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
• Assist other welders in learning welding skills.
• Complete safety procedures and training; perform other work as assigned.
