Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring an Overnight Street Sweeper (Non-CDL) for a full-time night shift in Donna, TX. You will own assigned routes and operate the street sweeper to keep streets clean and safe for the community. A high school diploma and 1 year of DOT driving experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience preferred.
• License: Driver’s License.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: MVR check, background check, and drug screening per policy and law.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure safety features are operational.
• Execution: Review routes, complete jobs within the allotted time with quality.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate street sweeper according to procedures.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and dispose per site rules.
• Reporting: Report equipment issues, near misses, or injuries promptly.
• Professional Communication: Maintain professionalism with team and clients.
• Compliance & Documentation: Complete logs and forms accurately.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and solve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Report on time and adhere to shifts.
