Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an overnight operations supervisor to lead store associates, manage stocking, safety and productivity. You will coach staff, ensure safe practices, and maintain clean, organized store conditions while protecting assets and supporting other managers.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of retail experience, and relevant food handling certifications where applicable. Prior lead experience is preferred and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.
• Follows safety and company procedures consistently.

Responsibilities

• Train all associates on overnight operations and stocking productivity.
• Coach overnight staff to maintain company standards.
• Assess work completion and provide performance feedback.
• Implement performance standards and corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper safety practices.
• Maintain clean, organized store and safe working/shopping environment.
• Manage backroom organization, receiving area and stock rotation.
