Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an overnight supervisor to lead store associates during night operations, manage inventory, and ensure safe shopping and working conditions. You will coach staff, enforce company standards, and support store leadership in day-to-day execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store employees during overnight operations and assist with store management.
• Coach overnight associates and monitor performance.
• Ensure safety procedures and sanitation standards are followed.
• Direct unloading of trucks, merchandise placement and backroom organization.
• Maintain presentation, pricing integrity and stock levels.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals.
