Job summary

Dollar General seeks an Overnight Operations Supervisor to oversee store employees during night shifts, manage inventory, and ensure safe, efficient store operations. You will support managers and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, enforcing safety practices, and maintaining backroom organization. Previous retail leadership and food handling certifications are preferred to help drive performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience.
• Lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train overnight associates on stocking procedures and company standards.
• Coach overnight team to maintain store standards and assess performance.
• Conduct safety meetings and train on safety practices including equipment use.
• Maintain a clean, safe store and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Implement the store's 7 Day Workflow Plan for stocking standards.
• Direct unloading of trucks and stock reserve inventory; ensure proper backroom organization.
• Follow SOPs and employee handbook policies in daily operations.
