Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Overnight Supervisor to oversee store operations during night shifts, manage inventory, and maintain attractive merchandise presentation. You will help ensure a safe work environment and protect company assets while supporting other managers as needed.

The role requires training of associates on overnight procedures, coaching to meet standards, and enforcing safety practices. Prior retail leadership and high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication.
• Ability to read and follow merchandising plans.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Train overnight associates on stocking procedures and productivity standards.
• Coach overnight associates to maintain company standards.
• Assess work completion and provide performance feedback.
• Conduct safety meetings and train on safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe store and secure working/shopping environment.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and pricing accuracy.
• Direct unloading of trucks and stock replenishment.
• Follow SOPs and company communications.
