Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance.
• Safe resident transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Monitoring resident conditions and promptly reporting concerns.
• Maintaining resident comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
• Assisting residents with feeding, hydration, and nutritional support.
• Making beds and maintaining clean, organized resident rooms.
• Transporting residents throughout the facility as needed.
• Recording food and fluid intake accurately.
• Supporting nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Following facility policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Protecting resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Promoting resident rights and person-centered care.
• Reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or safety concerns.
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
