Qualifications

• Current Ohio State-Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Certification is required.
• Active CNA/STNA license in good standing.
• Experience in nursing home/long-term care or hospital settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Dependable attendance and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Monitor residents and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and nutrition.
• Make beds and keep rooms clean and organized.
• Transport residents as needed.
• Record food and fluid intake accurately.
• Support nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Follow facility policies and state regulations.
• Protect resident privacy and rights.
