Qualifications

• Must hold current Ohio STNA certification in good standing
• Active CNA/STNA license or registry status
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Compassion for elderly and rehabilitation residents
• Dependability and professionalism
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or assisted living preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene assistance
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Monitor residents and report changes to licensed nurses
• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and nutritional support
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety
• Document care according to facility standards and regulations
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Work with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Promote resident rights and person-centered care
