Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a Sterile Processing Aide to perform duties including processing specialty instruments and implants and supporting Supervisors and Tech IIs in orientation and training.

This full-time night position requires a high school diploma or GED, provisional certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician, and completion of 400 hands-on hours within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have provisional certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (have passed the certification exam and able to produce provisional certification).
• Must complete the 400 hours of hands‑on experience within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to perform all duties of Sterile Processing Aide, process specialty instruments and implants as well as assist Supervisors and Sterile Processing Tech IIs in the orientation and training of Sterile Processing Aides and Trainees.
