Job summary

KAISER Permanente Los Angeles is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II for the full-time night shift. The role involves decontaminating, cleaning, sterilizing, and distributing medical/surgical equipment in accordance with applicable guidelines.

You will handle orders, inventory, and set assembly for OR procedures and work in a collaborative SPD environment. Qualifications include 2 years of SPD experience, a Sterile Processing program with 400 clinical hours or Surgical Technician

Qualifications

• Two years of recent Sterile Processing experience in an acute hospital.
• Completion of an accredited Sterile Processing Program including 400 clinical hours or a Surgical Technician program.
• Certification: CSPD Technician OR RCST OR Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders from requesting departments.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning and packaging of instruments per guidelines.
• Operate Sterile Processing equipment (steam/plasma sterilizers, endoscope reprocessors).
• Inspect and wrap OR sets and ensure sterile packages integrity.
• Prepare OR case carts per preference cards for procedures.
• Promote and maintain customer service with internal/external customers.
