Job summary

FlexStaff Ltd. seeks a Sterile Processing Supervisor for our Bethpage, Long Island facility. The role oversees a 15‑person team in the sterilization department, working a 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

shift with holiday and rotating weekend availability. Competitive salary offered with strong benefits package. Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current CRCST (Central Service Technician) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience in sterile processing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team members to achieve sterile processing goals.
• Schedule and assign tasks to the team and oversee operations in decontamination and sterile areas.
• Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate transport to required facilities.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels in the department.
• Ensure proper documentation of sterilization activities and traceability.
• Monitor application of proper techniques during instrumentation processing, preparation, and packaging.

FlexStaff is looking for a Sterile Processing Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position at our client's Bethpage, Long Island facility.

Pay: $73,000- $83,000

Location: Bethpage, NY

Shift: 10:00p.m- 6:00a.m. Must be available to work some Holidays and rotating weekends

In this role, you'll supervise and coordinate a team of 15 in the facilities sterilization department.

Ideal candidates should possess:

• An associate degree
• Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST)
• Relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 plus years of supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train team members to achieve sterile processing goals.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members and supervise operations in decontamination and sterile work areas.
• Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate the transport of carts to necessary facilities.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Ensure proper documentation of sterilization activities.
• Monitor the application of proper techniques during instrumentation processing, preparation, and packaging.
