Emerus in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an Inpatient Nurse (PCU/Step-Down/Telemetry RN) for a full‑time night shift role. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care with a focus on age‑specific and specialty needs, following physician orders and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications include an RN license in PA, 2+ years of Telemetry/ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and English fluency. A $30,000 sign‑on bonus is offered along with night/weekend differentials and parking benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current PA RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN Telemetry/ICU or related experience.
• BLS and ACLS current; PALS preferred; ENPC may substitute for PALS.
• English fluency; strong written and verbal communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances due within the last 5 years or prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients.
• Provide age‑appropriate nursing care with safety and privacy in mind.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and CLIA/ COLA.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer processes.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures in the unit area.

Skills
