Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to support the operation and reliability of central utility systems critical to patient care. You will ensure the functionality and efficiency of essential systems, including chilled water and steam, while working in a dynamic environment.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $69,000 to $103,000, along with excellent benefits including medical coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Four years experience working with boiler systems, chiller/cooling towers, and/or water treatment systems in a large central physical plant.
• First or Second Grade Licensed Stationary Engineer preferred.
• Class D Water Operator license issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize central utility systems including chilled water, steam, and heating hot water systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on boilers and chillers.
• Coordinate work orders and manage maintenance backlog.
