Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Pipe Welder for Stage 0 Ground Fabrication (Starship) on the night shift at Starbase, TX. You will execute precision fits and high-integrity welds on complex GSE pipe systems enabling vehicle testing and historic Starship flights from the Texas coast.

Responsibilities include welding, evaluating drawings, and maintaining required licenses. Expect a fast-paced, safety-conscious role with overtime and weekend variability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of GTAW or GMAW on stainless steel pipe.
• Familiar with ASME B31.3 requirements and pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld stainless steel piping using GTAW or GMAW.
• Analyze drawings to plan welding operations with supervision.
• Inspect welds per ASME B31.3 after training.
• Maintain licenses, permits, or certifications as required.
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and cooperate with team.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
