Job summary
Rutgers University Correctional Healthcare is seeking a Full Time UCHC Staff Nurse for Edna Mahan Correctional Facility located in Clinton, NJ. The Staff Nurse utilizes the nursing process to meet a variety of health care needs with ambulatory care as a primary focus.

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- License to practice in the State of New Jersey.
- CPR Certification required.
- Valid Driver's License is required. Must possess own vehicle or transport to sites.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect nursing care to meet physiological, psychosocial and emotional needs of inmate-patients (18+ to geriatrics).
- Utilizes effective communication skills with respect, concern and courtesy in all interactions.
- Uses current knowledge to promote a safe environment for health care in a correctional setting.
