Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Ability to learn safe operation of equipment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work with a safety mindset at all times.
• Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant.
• Move material across stackers in a safe and productive manner without sacrificing quality.
• Mentor, train and guide the employees on the stacker crew.
• Ensure stamps are correct for the material and are legible on the wood.
• Monitor the stacker crew to ensure jobs are performed correctly and efficiently; raise issues or concerns to the Production Coordinator.
• Keep the stacker area clean throughout the day.
• Know emergency response procedures and be able to help in emergency situations.
• Attend all training sessions and safety meetings.
• Computer duties as necessary.
• Other duties as directed.
