Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Stacker for the 3rd shift to handle stacking sheets from the corrugator. The role requires setup, operation, cleanup, and suggesting improvements to processes to maintain efficiency.

Responsibilities include assisting the corrugator crew, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring proper load tagging and equipment maintenance. Weekend availability and flexibility to start early or stay late are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow factory instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and quickly.
• Basic math skills including percentages, volume and rate.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out written/oral instructions.
• Working knowledge of equipment design, production layouts and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Relay messages promptly to the correct personnel for adjustments.
• Assist Corrugator crew as directed by the supervisor.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs and assist with upkeep.
• Adhere to the production schedule and help optimize it for cost and quality.
• Report scheduling issues to the supervisor and help meet service goals.
• Learn to back up Slitter Operator and Doublebacker when needed.
